DCVRD 2018- Dallas County Elections Voter Registration Awareness Month

The year is passing quickly, and things are happening in our community that needs our attention.  The Dallas County Elections Department (“DCED”) reminds you of our Annual Dallas County Voter Registration Day.  During the month of September we invite you to take part in spreading the word about the importance of registering to vote and participating in the elections and voting process.

During September of 2018, leading up to September 25, 2018, DCED will coordinate and host registration drives and events throughout Dallas County. These events will lead into our Annual Dallas County Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.  DCED, along with other cities and organizations will participate in a Dallas County-wide effort to increase voter registration.

Because of November 6, 2018 General (Governor’s Race) Election, this year’s events will be critical for increasing timely voter registration among all segments of Dallas County, and informing citizens of their rights and abilities regarding the voting and election process.

  • Volunteers to work Voter Registration tables and interact with the public.
  • Volunteers to deliver supplies to High Schools and/or other venues.
  • Organizations willing to coordinate their own voter registration drive.
