Dallas, Texas – On Tuesday – May 26, 2020, Secretary of State’s Office released Guidance on Recommended Health Protocols for Texas Election Officials and Voters.

In preparation for the upcoming Democratic Primary Runoff Election, of Tuesday-July 14, 2020.
Dallas County Elections Department is implementing new procedures for all voters who wish to cast their ballot in person, during Early Voting or on Election Day.

The Dallas County Elections Department is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our voters and our employees.
All Elections Department personnel will follow the COVID- 19 PPE procedures while fulfilling their duties at the different sites they are assigned to.
Face Masks , gloves, sanitizer and cleaning wipes will be available to assist them in maintaining a sanitized work area.
This will help combat the spread of the COVID-19. Workstations will be kept orderly and clerks should avoid loitering in areas they are not assigned to.
