A Training Class is required due to the new 2017-2019 term for ALL Judges, Alternate Judges and Clerks.

Photo ID Laws: This class is for judges, alternate judges and clerks who have NOT learned the new photo ID laws enacted in the fall of 2016 and know the 2017 Election Day Laws and Procedures.

Election Day Laws & Procedures: This class is an overview of the 2017 Election Day laws and procedures for judges, alternate judges and clerks who have already learned the photo ID laws enacted in the fall of 2016. This class would be best for poll workers also working Early Voting. Early Voting procedures are different from Election Day procedures. Election Day Training is still required for poll workers working Early Voting.

Photo ID & Election Day Laws & Procedures: This class is an overview of Photo ID, 2017 Election Day laws and procedures for judges, alternate judges and clerks who have previously worked a Dallas County Polling Location.

NEW JUDGE Photo ID & Election Day Laws & Procedures: This class is for newly appointed judges and alternate judges as well as clerks who have never worked at a Dallas County Polling Location. This class will go over Photo ID, 2017 Election Day Laws and Procedures in depth.

Election Day Training Labs

Training labs begin in 1 hour increments (i.e. 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, etc.).  Last lab begins 1 hour prior to end time.  Training Labs allow for smaller groups (10 spots max per class) to have hands on opportunities to work with the Election Equipment (Laptop, ADA, & M100), Paperwork/Provisional Voting, and Voter ID

*It’s RECOMMENDED to take an Election Day Training Class prior to taking a Lab Class to fully understand what is being taught in the lab class.
